👜 We all know Chanel designs as basic b girly flap bags — no hate, I love them too! But she began designing hats and later boyish gowns that allowed women more movement and less frills. She literally popularized minimal and practical clothes for the first time. But as you know it takes money to make money...

💰 In her mid twenties, she opened her first shop, at Rue 21 Cambon — that was literally funded by a man she was a mistress to...but she fell in love with his best friend! So the two men argued who would continue financially supporting her. *she must have had one golden 🐱* One man paid for living expenses and one financed her business. But like the bad b she was, she paid the #SugarDaddy financier back when she became wildly successful.

🧵 Other strange facts: Coco was all business. She didn’t believe fashion is art, but had a more practical view that clothes should be comfortable and creating clothing is a business. In fact, she never sketched designs. She required models to stand for hours while she draped, pinned, and ordered assistants around. She probably wasn’t someone you’d wanna work for, but she was a fabulous man eater. 😋

💰The moral of the story: One of the greatest entrepreneurs, freaking Coco Chanel, got hand ups from wealthy, older men. If she can, you can too! Don’t have any shame in your game. I was never Robert’s sugar baby — but it’s the character I play on tiktok, and the song makes me smile. 🎵 I definitely can relate to a lot of the lyrics, especially when I think back to the season of life between divorce and meeting Robert. I think many of us can relate if we are honest with ourselves. It’s a feeling where you don’t really believe in love for the sake of love anymore because you’ve been crushed before...like an acceptance that someone could bring good things to your life at the most, but you could never truly LOVE them...nor do you want to expose your heart and be vulnerable enough to love for real...but then someone walks in and changes your mind. Someone earns your trust. Someone makes you truly love again. And that love is so real, so pure, you don’t think you’ll ever love again after knowing this love.

Habits you need to put
into practice for 2021:

1️⃣Wake up earlier. Set a specific time. No snoozing on your future.

2️⃣Actually schedule a time in the morning on your calendar for daily personal development — like reading, yoga, meditation, and prayer. Whatever makes your heart full with the presence of God.

3️⃣Make a list of longterm and short-term goals. You can’t manifest what you can’t manage!!!

4️⃣Be consistent with a fitness schedule. It’s so good for your body AND brain. Set aside 5 days a week you are committed to movement.

5️⃣Don’t scroll to compare. Scroll to get inspired. Go through the people you follow, and unfollow anyone that makes you feel anything less than worthy and valuable.

6️⃣Be committed to your longterm health. Focus on choosing nourishing meals and allow yourself to eat intuitively.

7️⃣Take one small step towards your goals daily. Focus on the big picture. Something is always better than nothing!

8️⃣Set social media screentime limits in your phone and stick to it!

9️⃣Never go to bed without double cleansing, applying your skincare routine, and always moisturizing! I don’t care how tipsy you are! Priorities.

🔟Go to bed earlier. Use the bedtime feature on your iPhone. Set a specific time.

“SHIT. I SHOULDN’T HAVE DONE/SAID THAT…BUT I DID.”

So I did a bad thing.
So you did a bad thing.

How long do we believe we must suffer in guilt before we can be chill again?

Oh, cmon, you know what I mean…When you subconsciously torture yourself because you believe you don’t deserve forgiveness “yet.” So you wallow in guilt and feel irritated with yourself all day and that bad vibe leaks into all the other areas of your life. We CHOOSE to withhold unconditional love from ourselves as if self-torment for a whole day will suffice…

The self talk turns into: “And maybe you can have a good day tomorrow after what you did. How shameful…How distasteful…How disgraceful…”

NO. Enough is enough.

You are pure love and pure light.
Everything else is an illusion.

You don’t have to wait a day to unlock your prison. You don’t deserve to “feel bad” no matter “how bad” the mistake was.

The quickest way to FEEL GOOD AGAIN and get back into a high vibe is practicing self-forgiveness. I choose to repeat, “I forgive you for not being how I wanted you to be,” while gazing at my soul through the pupils of my eyes in the mirror. (SAVE THIS POST FOR LATER SO YOU CAN REMEMBER THIS. I promise this one declaration is LIFE-CHANGING)

Enlightened Sisters, you will never be “perfect,” but you ARE perfectly imperfect…whole and true. When you choose to see from a spiritual perspective, you are deciding IN ADVANCE to consistently get back up when you fall down because you can “see” in the future that you WILL indeed make mistakes…and you accept this part of your ego with open arms, with radical acceptance…the way GOD SEES YOU.

You are worthy of forgiveness. So forgive yourself for those hateful texts or comparison thoughts. Forgive yourself for going off on your dad. Forgive yourself for snapping at your partner. Acknowledge your darkest shadow and FORGIVE HER.

The quicker you can forgive yourself, the quicker you can realign.

Eventually, realigning will be second nature.

Choosing to do better each day will be your heart’s desire.

Love yourself enough to forgive her now.

Truth be told, we planned an epic road trip, but my body crapped out on us. Just when I thought I healed my gut, mysterious nausea, and back pain, it crept back in again. 🥺 It’s okay though. This journey to health reminds me that I am human and I’m more grateful for the days when my body feels good than ever before. 😔Yesterday, I felt great, was actually tired of shopping, and dealing with all the necessary pains of traveling during a pandemiccc, so we packed up and made our way to Lafayette, Louisiana. 🙏🏽 I’m feeling a lot better today, and I’m excited to nest for the holidays in my own way (I’m not a big decorator). All this to say, I know the lives of people look picture perfect on Instagram, but the last 5 vacations of my life included miserable days of sickness, aches, and pain that makes you nauseated— and this is also something I deal with in my everyday life randomly. I never know when it will strike. I’ve done every blood, poop, and pee test. I’ve cut out every food known to man in my diet.🥺 I don’t want unsolicited medical advice, but I do want your prayers and amazing vibes sent my way. 😌So when you don’t see me being a content machine with face to cam videos, know I’m probably feeling tired or actually really sick and I just don’t like to talk about it and bring everyone down. Shopping just isn’t the same with the Rona in the air or without @celiamarie_99 (who is studying so hard in nursing school) 🛍 BUT my mom makes anything a fun thing. She booked at WestinOaks and we lived at the #Houston Galleria, shopping until we literally dropped for four days during a hurricane! 😅 My favorite finds from the trip were, of course, my first pair of @fendi boots that @fnd_nallaryr helped me decide on (it was a hard decision, but these have a modern low heel and comfy classic toe!), and @zara high waisted balloon jeans that have an elastic waist (so you can eat all the tacos you want!). Who knew jeans could be as comfy as yoga pants? NOW YOU DO. 👍 I liked them so much, I bought two pairs. 🤪 Trends finally trickling down to fast preppy fashion this year that I have loved since last year: leather cropped flair pants, tweed everything, balloon pants with a fitted top, metallic anything, puffed sleeves, denim jackets (like the kind we wore 16 years ago — so dig in the attic), and classic patterns like plaids and houndstooth. 💫 NEW TREND ALERT: MASK CHAINS, kinda like sunglasses holders that grannies wear — but for your mask.
